Terms of Service

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service set forth the conditions and procedures for using the services provided through the online store operated by PAPER ME (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and its users.

Article 2. Definitions

“User” means any person who accesses and uses the Company’s services in accordance with these Terms.

“Products” means made-to-order notebooks and other related goods and services sold by the Company.

Article 3. Posting and Amendment of the Terms

The Company will make these Terms readily available to users by posting them on the service.

The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.

If these Terms are amended, the Company will provide prior notice stating the effective date and reason for the amendment at least 7 days before the effective date. If an amendment is materially disadvantageous to users, notice will be provided at least 30 days in advance.

Article 4. Provision and Modification of Services

The Company provides services including product information, order placement, payment processing, and delivery.

The Company may modify the content of its services where necessary and will provide prior notice of any material changes.

Article 5. Orders and Formation of Contract

Users may place orders in accordance with the procedures established by the Company.

A contract is formed when the Company accepts and confirms the user’s order.

The Company may withhold or refuse acceptance of an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including product unavailability, incorrect information, or other circumstances that make fulfillment difficult.

Article 6. Payment

Users must pay for their orders using the payment methods provided by the Company.

Payment-related information is securely processed through the applicable payment gateway provider (PG).

Article 7. Withdrawal, Cancellation, Exchanges & Refunds

Withdrawal, cancellation, exchanges, and refunds are governed by applicable laws and regulations and by the Company’s Refund Policy.

PAPER ME notebooks are made-to-order products. Accordingly, withdrawal due to a simple change of mind may be restricted once production has begun, provided that the customer was separately informed of and agreed to this restriction before placing the order.

Article 8. Protection of Personal Information

The Company protects users’ personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and its Privacy Policy.

Article 9. Obligations of the Company

The Company will comply with applicable laws and these Terms and will make reasonable efforts to ensure that users can use the services safely and reliably.

Article 10. Obligations of Users

Users must provide accurate information when placing an order.

Users must not engage in activities such as using another person’s information without authorization, interfering with the operation of the service, or otherwise using the service in an unlawful or improper manner.

Article 11. Disclaimer

The Company will not be liable for losses or damages resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters or circumstances attributable to the user.

Article 12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Any matters not specifically addressed in these Terms will be governed by applicable Korean laws and regulations, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc., the Framework Act on Consumers, and the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards issued by the Korea Fair Trade Commission.

Any dispute between the Company and a user will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable Korean law.
